PTFE Conflict Minerals Compliance

Compliant Materials

Conflict minerals are those minerals specified in Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act (Pub. Law 111-203) and federal regulations promulgated pursuant to 15 U.S.C. 78m(p), as amended, which directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or an adjoining country. Vital Polymers does not intentionally add conflict minerals to its semi-finished or finished products and, to the best of its knowledge and belief, the resin used to produce said products contains no conflict minerals. Accordingly, all Vital Polymers products are DRC conflict-free.

This statement is based upon our current level of knowledge. Vital Polymers does not routinely analyze its materials for the presence of substances not intentionally added. Since conditions of use are outside of Vital Polymers' control, Vital Polymers makes no warranties, express or implied, and assumes no liability in connection with the use of this information.
